Forensic science is the study of evidence in criminal investigation for presentation in courts of law. The artifacts encountered at crime scenes are frequently perishable and their collection, packaging, cleaning, and their preservation requires special expertise and scientific knowledge.



The Forensic Science program at Windsor will give you an education in both the Arts and Sciences, with a focus on acquiring the skills and knowledge essential to the ethical professional practice of forensics.



In both the classroom and laboratories and through internships, you will develop research skills in the preservation, measurement, analysis and identification of criminal evidence.



You will refine interpersonal and public speaking skills and critical-thinking abilities. You will develop capabilities for reporting and establishing a good case. As well, you will study law, criminality, judicial systems, and the importance of high ethical standards in criminal investigations.
