 | The IMS Centre was established at the University of Windsor in 1994 and comprises three state of the art research laboratories dealing with product design, manufacturing systems design and operation and intelligent automation. Current research includes:
- Flexible, Reconfigurable and Changeable Manufacturing Systems
- Rapid Product Design, Prototyping, Reverse Engineering and Inspection
- Simulation, Quality, Cost, Products and Systems Life-Cycle
- Process Planning
- Production Planning
- Robotics and Control
The IMS Centre participates in national and international research projects.
