MSW/LLB JOINT DEGREE PROGRAM

The objective of the MSW/LLB joint degree program is to promote the integration of law and social work through an interdisciplinary commitment to social justice. Students who are interested in social justice and want to learn the skills, theories, and practice tools to equip them to be competent leaders and agents of change within and between the diverse fields of the legal and social work professions may be interested in this program.

MSW/LLB graduates will be well positioned to serve the diverse and complex needs required of employers in the legal and/or human services. Children’s Aid Societies, Office of the Children’s Lawyer, and Legal Aid providers are possible employers of graduates from this program.

The MSW/LLB Joint Degree Program is fully accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Social Work. Graduates are eligible for membership in the Ontario Association of Social Workers, the Canadian Association of Social Workers and are eligible to apply for certification to the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Windsor graduates are employed in every province in Canada and internationally.
