Research Finance

Research Finance supports the research enterprise at the University of Windsor by providing expert advice, financial accountability, and ongoing management of all research funds. We work closely with funding agencies, researchers, administrative units and the Office of Research to ensure adherence to funding guidelines and policies.

Research Finance is responsible for managing the post-award functions for all research grants and contracts at the University of Windsor. This includes monitoring cash flows and expenditures, communicating with funding agencies, and financial reporting.

Mission:
To provide the University of Windsor Research Community with administrative support in the area of finance.

Vision:
To facilitate and assist Researchers in ensuring all research-funded expenditures, budgets and financial reports are in compliance with University policies, the terms of the agreement, and granting agency rules.

Objectives:
Main point of post-award contact with sponsor agencies. We provide expert financial advice, support and assistance to researchers in the management of their research funds.
