Fire Evacuation Procedures

On Discovering Fire: sound the alarm
On Hearing the Alarm: evacuate the building

Failure to leave the building is a serious infraction and will be treated as such. Students failing to evacuate a building during an alarm will be fined $125 for each occurance. It is the duty of each resident to respond to an unsafe situation and report it.

THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES ARE APPLICABLE TO CLARK RESIDENTS ONLY:

In the event of a severe weather warning (tornado) Residence Services staff will inform the residents of each floor and instruct them of safety procedures.

Utilities Failure
NOTE: The University shall not be liable for compensation if any of the following occur: strikes, fires, explosion, water, Acts of God, civil disorder or disturbance, vandalism, riot, sabotage, or for any cause beyond the control of the University.
