crime prevention means partnerships
Community Services Unit/Crime Prevention.

This unit of Campus Community Police was established in August, 2003. The unit's role is to pro-actively interact with the community to raise awareness of public safety issues and crime prevention. This is facilitated by a direct and constant liaison with the community. The delivery of public safety programs, education resources as well as a participatory role with the Campus Police- Community Advisory Committee (CP-CAC) ensures the Community Services Unit's mandate of public service at the highest level.

The Unit is staffed by a Special Constable certified as a Crime Prevention Specialist through the American Crime Prevention Institute in Louisville, Kentucky.

Campus Community Police's Crime Prevention Unit is at the forefront of providing first rate and up-to-date crime prevention programming to the community. We are available to provide free, on-demand workshops and information to the community at large on the following topics and more. Don't hesitate to give us a call for further information or resources. (519) 253-3000 ext. 2409 cpolice@uwindsor.ca
