Welcome to University Advancement

University Advancement is a key service provider that assumes a leadership role in creating and cultivating internal and external relationships to enhance the mission of the University of Windsor.

The Division — through its departments of fund development, alumni affairs, and alumni records — helps to advance other faculty and departmental plans by:

Building reputation and profile, and public support, for teaching, learning and research – locally, nationally and internationally;
Developing life-long relationships with students, alumni and supporters;
Generating revenue for capital, endowments, faculties and special projects;
Helping to create campus pride;
Building campus partnerships to create a learning-centred campus;
Brand development; and
Fostering relationships with internal and external constituents.

The activities within University Advancement are key to building a stronger learning-centred campus. From promotions to increase awareness of student services to raising funds for new buildings, scholarships and classroom technology, its departments provide an important service to the University of Windsor.
