Chemistry or Chemistry & Physics

This page is aimed at helping students in Chemistry or Chemistry & Physics set up their initial schedules. Be flexible in scheduling your laboratory slots, afternoon and evening labs are available for 59-140.

Time slots for Fall 2003 are shown below for some key courses for first year students. For the latest up to date timetables and for online registration, visit the Student Information System.

Some helpful recommendations:
  • Take an Arts elective that you are interested in - ask around for advice from friends (especially those who have already completed first year) as to which electives and professors are the best choice.
  • If you cannot register in lab slots 51 - 55, please try a higher numbered slot.
  • Linear Algebra 03-62-120 is a math requirement for both the Chemistry and Chemistry & Physics programs. Chemistry students may take it first year or second year. Chemistry & Physics students must take this course in their first year.

It is highly recommended that you attend a Headstart Session if you are having difficulty registering. If you do not have a headstart package, please visit the Headstart website and order one!
