Scholarships & Bursaries
Each year, the University of Windsor offers financial support to its students through more than $16-million in scholarships and bursaries. Scholarships often play an essential role in enabling a student to achieve the goal of a post-secondary degree. The generous donations from alumni and friends have created hundreds of these financial awards for deserving and motivated students at the University of Windsor. These awards support incoming first-year undergraduate students, in-course student in second and subsequent years as well as graduate students - both full and part-time.

Your contribution to the endowment for scholarships and bursaries will support students for years to come. Scholarships are earned for academic merit. The awarding of bursaries is based on financial need, often in combination with scholastic, community service or other achievements. You can direct a gift of any amount to create a new scholarship or to enhance an existing scholarship. An endowment for a named scholarship, in honour or in memory of a loved one or friend, can be created with a minimum gift of $25,000. Pledges can be made to achieve a target endowment through a series of gifts over time.
