Faculty Needs: Faculty of Science
1. Graduate Scholarships

Graduate students’ work is essential to the future of research in Canada. These students are the researchers, university professors, industry and social leaders of tomorrow. One of our challenges is to attract the best and brightest graduate-level students. In order to be successful, we need to be able to offer sufficient scholarship and bursary funds to these individuals.

2. Travel Funds

One of the greatest rewards for students is to be invited to present their research findings at a conference or attend a competition. Donations will be used to help individual students or groups cover the costs of registration fees, travel and accommodations to participate in these activities.

3. Teaching and Learning Labs

A sufficient number of instruments, glassware and equipment in labs is essential for teaching and learning. These costly items need to be replaced regularly because of high use and breakage. Funds donated will help ensure that our labs are adequately equipped with the items needed for student use.
