    TOEFL Preparation Course

    This 45 hour course is designed to help students prepare for the IBT TOEFL exam. Focus is broken down into 4 sections based on the content of the TOEFL: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. Extensive practice tests and exercises will be given on each section.

    Speaking (Developing a topic; stating and supporting an opinion; speaking clearly and coherently; evaluating independent speaking)
    Writing (connecting information; taking notes; developing ideas; sentence structure)
    Speaking (connecting information; taking notes; developing a topic) and Writing (Evaluating the Response)

    TOEFL test will be taken separate from class time.

    Instructor: Jesse Chenier, obtained his TESL from Oxford Seminars. Currently completing his degree at the University of Windsor in English Literature, Creative Writing & Drama, he also serves as a Board Member of the English Undergrad Student Association and a representative for Club Soda,  the Drama Club. Jesse has extensive experience tutoring elementary, high school, and ESL students as well as peer editing.

    An administration fee of $25.00 is charged in the event that the student cancels one week prior to the start of classes. A prorated refund will be granted up to three (3) weeks after the start of the session. Reduced rates are available for groups of three (3) or more students from the same company/organization.
