This 30 hour course will guide students through all the steps of producing a piece of academic writing. Students will produce one piece of writing using source materials provided in class. The second writing assignment will concern a topic of the student’s choice. Some of the major topics include: Developing a Focus, Writing Introductions and Conclusions, and Supporting your Ideas. A course instructor will be available during class times to help guide your research and writing process.
This course is recommended for upper intermediate to proficient English speakers.
Registration Information Late registrations will be accepted. All courses offered are subject to sufficient enrollment. Students with an outstanding invoice will be denied course registration.
The College reserves the right to change, amend or alter fees as necessary without notice or prejudice.
REFUNDS
Students who officially withdraw within three (3) classes of the beginning of a session will receive a prorated refund of all tuition for that session less an administrative fee of $25.00.
No Refund if course is dropped on or after the third class.
Notification for dropping the course must be received by the office at Iona College in writing prior to 4:00 pm on the day of the deadline. |
