Part-time photographer and full-time Law II student, Jack Yu, can find beauty just about anywhere. During the month of 'Movember' at Windsor Law, he did not have to search far.
For the past two years, the Windsor Law Mo Bros have been growing moustaches throughout the month of November to raise money and awareness in hopes of ending prostate cancer. This year's team was comprised of more than eighty men, and raised over $12000--No. 1 among all Canadian law school campaigns. Fundraising initiatives included 'Wovember: The Women of Movember', where women of Windsor Law sported fake moustaches in exchange for donations, and the 'Windsor Law Men of Movember Calendar'. The calendar was produced by Jack and Law II student, Robert Sheldon, and includes comical photos of Windsor Law students for every month of the year. The cover features Dean Bruce Elman and Associate Dean Christopher Waters, who both actively participated in Movember.
Prostate cancer is a very serious and ugly disease that nearly twenty-five thousand Canadian men will be diagnosed with this year alone. It is neither funny nor beautiful, but for Jack Yu and the Men of Movember at Windsor Law, joining in on the fight proved to be both.
