Registration is now open for the Canadian Association of Law Libraries 2010 conference, Gateway to Justice, in Windsor May 9 to 12. About 350 delegates from across Canada and Michigan will join special guests from the United Kingdom, Australia, and the European Union.
Annette Demers, reference librarian in the Paul Martin Law Library, chairs the conference planning committee. She says the conference will be interesting for librarians, professors, law students, legal researchers, information professionals, and students considering these careers.
"There are many exciting programs, including our Innovation Gallery—which showcases innovative projects in different libraries—our keynote speaker Maude Barlowe, and numerous seminars of every description," Demers says. "This is a rare opportunity to hear some innovative programming so close to home."
