Larry Smith was a member of the Bishop's University Gaiters Football Team who played against the University of Windsor in 1969 CCIFC Championship game, won by the Lancers, 22 21. He went on to play nine seasons with the Montreal Alouettes, earning a law degree, gaining success in business and among many accomplishments, served as commissioner of the Canadian Football League.
