#2010-13-03 Clinical Coordinator ‘VII’ (substitute for approximately one year) in the Faculty of Nursing
The following posting closes on March 18, 2010.
Working closely with the Faculty of Nursing’s other Clinical Coordinator, Dean, Associate Dean,
Assistant to the Dean, Undergraduate/Graduate Coordinators, Level Coordinators and
faculty/staff, the incumbent will coordinate the placement of nursing students in clinical agencies throughout the tri-county area and beyond as needed. The incumbent will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), as well as a current College of Nurses of Ontario registration. The incumbent will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of nursing practices in hospitals and in the community, including knowledge of health-related agencies in the region, as well as knowledge of and understanding of nursing and/or health-related curriculum and programs. The successful incumbent must be able to demonstrate a high proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a proven aptitude for learning new software and database programs. Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, as well as accuracy and attention to detail are required. The incumbent will also have the ability to multi-task, to work independently, as well as part of a team, and have excellent organizational and public relations skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, as some travelling within the region is required.
