Workshop a primer in protecting digital information
This week's featured workshop Protecting Computer Data will teach how you can safeguard your computer gathered data by using Windows Automatic Updates, software updates, Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 anti-virus software, anti-spyware programs, and TrueCrypt—an application that allows you to encrypt data on your computer or storage device.
The workshops are held in the training room of the University Computing Centre and are free for all university students, faculty and staff. To register for a workshop go to http://www.uwindsor.ca/clsregister.

- Monday, March 22 — Integrating Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint 2007 - Sorting & Filtering, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- Tuesday, March 23 — Microsoft Excel 2007 - Pivot Tables, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, March 24 — Fine Tuning Your Lotus Notes Experience, 2 to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, March 25— Protecting Computer Data, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
