LANGUAGE AND LOGIC

Combined Honours Language and Logic

Total courses: forty

Major requirements-Language and Logic: fifteen courses, including:
(a) 07-120, 07-220, 34-160, 34-260, 34-262, 34-360, 60-104;
(b) two non-English language courses above the OAC level or its equivalent, e.g., e.g., Arabic, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Ojibwe, Spanish;
(c) six of 24-210, 26-290, 26-291, 29-230*, 29-231*, 29-330*, 29-332*, 29-431*, 29-434*, 34-261, 40-101, 40-202, 40-250, 40-275, 53-270.

*Courses taught in French; the prerequisites for these courses are 29-121, 29-122 or permission of the instructor. These two language courses can be taken to fulfil major requirement (b).

Major requirements-Other Subject: as prescribed by that area of study.

Option requirements:
(a) two courses from Social Sciences;
(b) two courses from Arts or Science;
(b) two courses from any area of study, excluding Arts.

Other requirements:
(a) additional courses (if necessary) from any area of study, to a total of forty courses.
