* Every effort will be made to ensure that Field Education I and II will allow the Combined Social Work and Diaspora Studies student to utilize their knowledge from both areas of study in the experiential learning process.

NB. Diaspora Studies requires that Combined Majors take option 47-4XX Special Topics in Diaspora Studies.

* 07-236 is offered on a two year cycle. Therefore, Combined Social Work and Diaspora students must take it in either second or third year as appropriate and with the understanding that one of the Diaspora electives will also be transferred as appropriate.
