Before they are hired, all of our road personnel are interviewed three times and must be at least 25 years of age and have a minimum of three years of experience with household goods. Once hired, they must successfully complete the United Van Lines Packing and Loading coarse and participate in at least one training seminar per year. On average our drivers have at least nine years of experience and are 39 years of age. Recent performance evaluations by United Van Lines indicated that our fleet drivers achieve 17.6% fewer claims and 37.2% less in claim values than is average within the chain. The federal government has also ranked United Van Lines number one for volume and quality of service within the moving industry.

Our special staffed Relocation Centre provides you with detailed information about public services, recreational facilities, schools, housing, transportation and media outlets in your new community.

An essential component of the Armstrong International Movers’ relocation system is the quotation and Contract. Unlike others in our industry, our pricing is firm – protecting you from cost overruns – while delivering the best value.

At Armstrong International Movers we believe the very best way to settle a claim is to prevent loss or damages in the first place. In the event a claim occurs our special Marine Policy is supported by a global insurance organization and is based on your (the shipper’s) completed application. Our comprehensive policy includes; zero deductible, full replacement cost coverage, foreign currency payment option, competitive premiums, online applications and documentation and personalized claim settlement with the assistance of an Armstrong move coordinator.

International move wrapping is a three stage process. Your furniture is wrapped beginning with a soft international moving pad, followed by corrugated overwrap and then each piece is then contoured with hard cardboard. All prepared items are computer labeled to indicate land, sea, air or storage. All items are then logged on a customs approved inventory sheet.
