Directions to the University of Windsor
If you are arriving by car from Toronto:
Continue north from Highway 401 along Huron Church Road. Continue past the entrance to the Ambassador Bridge to Wyandotte Street.
(P) Parking across from the Odette School of Business: Turn right (east) onto Wyandotte Street. Turn right (south) at the first light. The parking lot is to your left.
(P) Parking at Assumption Church: Turn left (west) onto Wyandotte Street. Follow Wyandotte Street to the first light. Turn right (north) on Huron Church Road. There is a pay-per-visit lot on your right side.
(P) Parking in the Assumption Church University lot: Continue north on Huron Church Road to University Avenue (next light). Turn right (going east) on University Avenue. Parking is to your right in this block.
If you are arriving by tunnel from Michigan:
At the tunnel exit, turn left onto Park Street. You'll only be on Park Street for a few meters. Immediately, turn right onto Ouellette Avenue (going north). Proceed to University Avenue, the next traffic light. Turn left onto University Avenue (heading west). Continue west along University Avenue until you reach the University of Windsor. (P) Parking is available at the Assumption Church parking lot on your left.
Alternate route (this one is quite scenic). At the tunnel exit, turn left onto Park Street. You'll only be on Park Street for a few meters. Immediately, turn right onto Ouellette Avenue (going north). Continue north about two blocks, along Ouellette until you reach Riverside Drive. Turn left at the light, onto Riverside Drive. Continue west until you reach Huron Church Road. Turn left on Huron Church to the next light. Turn left onto University Ave. West. Turn right into the Assumption Church parking lot (P).
If you are arriving by bridge from Michigan:
Take the bridge exit that indicates downtown Windsor. It's the extreme right exit as you leave the customs inspection stations. This will bring you to Huron Church Road. Travel north along Huron Church Road. Turn right on University Ave. West. Turn right at the Assumption Church Parking Lot (P).
If you are coming from Windsor International Airport:
Make a right from the main Airport parking lot. You will be travelling west along County Road 42. This road will turn into Cabana Road at the fork. You want to take the left fork. Continue along Cabana until you reach Huron Church Road. Turn right onto Huron Church Road. Continue past the entrance to the Ambassador Bridge to Wyandotte. Turn left (west) on Wyandotte Street to Huron Church Road (first light). Turn right (north) on Huron Church. Continue north to University (next light). Turn right (going east) on University. Parking is available at the Assumption Church parking lot (P).
If you are coming from the VIA train station:
Travel west along Riverside Drive until you reach Huron Church Road. Turn left onto Huron Church. Turn left onto University Avenue at the first light. Turn left into the Assumption Church parking lot (P).
