SOCIAL WORK AND BACHELOR OF LAWS (MSW/LLB)
The MSW/LLB program allows students who are interested in social justice issues at the intersection of law and social work to obtain both degrees a full year sooner than would be possible had they chosen to pursue the degrees independently. Applicants who hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree may be able to complete the program in 3 years, while students without a BSW may be able to complete it in 4 years.
Admission Requirements
Applicants to the MSW/LLB program must meet the independent admission criteria of the Faculty of Law and the School of Social Work. Once an applicant has met the minimum requirements of the Faculty of Law and the School of Social Work, a joint committee will convene to determine the applicant’s suitability for the MSW/LLB program.
