Combined General Modern Languages
Total courses:
thirty.
Major requirements:
twenty-three courses, including
(a)
07-120, 07-220, 07-137, 07-237, 07-337;
(b) six language courses in each of two language option areas;
(c) two literature, culture or civilization courses in each of the two language option areas;
(d) two further courses from any area of Modern Languages
Option requirements:
six courses including
(a) two courses from Social Sciences;
(b) two courses from any area of study, excluding Arts.
Other requirements:
(a) 01-150, 01-151**;
(b) one further course from any area of study, excluding Modern Languages.
**Students who have completed a minimum of twenty semester courses prior to Fall 2008 are not required to take 01-150 and 01-151. Such students, who opt not to take 01-150 and 01-151, will be required to substitute any two courses from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, for which they are eligible.
