CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
A Certificate is a non-degree program that encourages non-traditional entry to the University (including outside of discipline-based degree programs), recognizes special sets of skills and knowledge not necessarily based in a single discipline, or recognizes a focus or concentration of learning distinct from a full degree.
Students may be granted advanced standing for all of the courses from a certificate program towards the fulfillment of graduation requirements for a degree, and all of the courses from a degree program may be counted towards the requirements of a Certificate program in a different area of study, with the exception of Nursing and Electrical Engineering.
